Marcus Oakley is interested in the fuzzy and foggy overlap of illustration in Art and Design, continuously learning that drawing has the potential to be anything and interpreted into anything. Living and working from Dunfermline, Scotland, Marcus’ influence includes folky, harmonic and melodic music of all kinds; the pastoral and folkloric delights of the countryside and the various eccentric beasts and humans that inhabit it – and overall the wonders of making things.

Each black line is unique, strongly inspired by his surroundings, nature, forms, and music - revealing that everything is related.
